Old Friends and a Few New Ones

I have been very fortunate to share my time and space with some wonderful little beings. Their spirits have brought and still bring me endless joy and unconditional love. I hope I have done the same for them. I thought I would post some of my favorites of them here so that I don't have to sort through hundreds of images on my computer to find them. One might think by now I might have done a photo album........

Watson was with me for almost 15 years of endless, and I mean -endless- games of fetch.

I think he was born with a toy in his mouth.
He was my best boy.

Oh, Dodger! What a body on that boy!
There was never a dull day in my sister's life while he was with her.

Mr. Bonomo's kitten face.

He went through some -very- awkward growing stages. Look at those ears!

And then grew into this beauty.

Bart lived next door and in my house and was Mr. Bonomo's best buddy.
They both disappeared within a year of each other.
I hope they are off on a big adventure somewhere together.
Jack and his first "friend" He was still feeding from a bottle at this point.

He loved watching TV and nascar with the boys next door.

Elvis showed up at my office one day and just moved his bog ol' Tom Cat self in.
He stayed about 8 months before moving on.
Junior was 13 when I rescued him.
He lived with me for about 3 months before deciding he would move down the street into someone else's house. They fell in love with him and allowed him to stay.
My girlfriend found Meeha in her backyard one day. She was skinny and sick and covered with fleas. She took her in then sent her to me. She was the sweetest, tiniest little girlie.
Lily loves St. Francis and used to spend a lot of time starting at him.
It sort of makes sense as he is the guardian saint of animals.
She did a lot of bird watching in the safety of his watch.
Iris and her purple purse. Her purse is her first line of defence against all things scary..
There will be more about this at another time.
There is one face missing and I just realized I don't have any pictures of him on this computer. Rest assured, Elliot, you are not forgotten.

I'm pretty sure that besides our children...nothing enriches our lives like owning a pet. I get so much laughter and joy from my two furbabies. It was fun seeing yours!
